After a series of fund raising events and having received a substantial donation from the Memorial hall committee, equipment was bought in 1988.
Over the years the club has had a healthy membership of about twenty and plays twice weekly on Tuesday and Thursday nights. It is affiliated to the Welsh Short Mat Bowls Association (WSMBA) and the Carmarthen & District Short Mat Bowls Association league (CDSMBA). Members have represented Wales in tournaments.
